Hornets Make a Splash

Class, Pride, and Heart were on display at the Flour Bluff ISD Natatorium, as Coach Brian Hutchinson and the Hornet Swimming and Diving team played host to the annual Hornet TISCA Swim Meet. The TISCA Swim Meet pits powerhouse swim teams against each other from around the state.  The Lady Hornet Swimming and Diving Team took home a 2nd Place finish, while the boys finished 9th overall. The Hornets were represented well on the podium, as many placed against some of the toughest swimmers in the state.

  • 3rd Place Girls 100 Back Jennifer Pena
  • 5th Place Girls 100 Breaststroke – Lauren Lindemann
  • 5th Place Girls 100 Fly Jennifer Pena
  • 6th Place Girls 400 Freestyle Relay –  Keira Howard, Jennifer Pena, Gabriela Lopez, Julia Volesky
  • 6th Place Girls 200 Medley Relay – Christabel Martin, Onachi Isiofia, Lauren Lindemann, Keira Howard
  • 7th Place Girls 100 Backstroke – Christabel Martin
  • 7th Place Boys 500 Free Grayson White
  • 8th Place Girls 1 Meter Diving – Madeline Robinson
  • 8th Place Girls 100 Butterfly – Onachi Isiofia

The Hornet Swimming and Diving Team will next compete at the Spring Branch ISD Invitational in Houston on December 14.
