We’re all each other’s greatest competitors and greatest cheerleaders.

Do you have any pre-meet rituals?

The night before a meet, I make sure to brush my teeth, floss, and mouth wash super well because having an extra clean mouth makes me feel faster in the water.

I have three favorites: Computer Science, Chemistry, and English.

What type of volunteer work are you involved in within your community?

Last summer I was a plant care volunteer at the Botanical Gardens.

Do you have any special talents, or is there something surprising about you that others might not know about you?

I can very convincingly do that trick where you remove half of your thumb.

Do you have a favorite quote you live by?

In the wider world, there is a sky beyond the sky. There are people more talented than oneself.
