Hornet of the Week: Kaylie Chapa

The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Kaylie Chapa, a Senior Golfer and Team Captain for the Hornet Golf Team. Kaylie has won seven Tournament titles, two Team District Championships and was named the Most Valuable Player of the District.  Away from the course, Kaylie’s exemplary work in the classroom has been recognized with awards for Academic All District, Academic All-State, and inductions into the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society.   Kaylie is just as astute at piano, where in her 12 years of competitive playing she has played Carnegie Hall five times.   Kaylie is the ultimate symbol of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.
