Hornet of the Week: Cade Dowd

The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Cade Dowd.  Cade is a multi-sport athlete for the Hornets.  Cade is a member of the Hornet Football Leadership Team.  Cade plays tight-end, in addition to being the primary punter and holder for the Hornet Football Team.  He is also a first baseman for the Hornet Baseball Team.

Cade is just as active off the field.  His academic success has earned him Academic All District honors in both Football and Baseball.  Cade is also a founding member and participant in the Flour Bluff Sports Information Program, where he serves a correspondent and play by play announcer.  He is respected by his fellow students, who elected him the 2022 Senior Class President.
