Hornet of the Week: Elizabeth Hudson

The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Elizabeth Hudson, a Senior Team Captain for the Lady Hornet Basketball Team. Away from the court, Elizabeth’s exemplary work in the classroom has earn her recognition as Academic All District. Elizabeth is an outstanding student that volunteers throughout the community.  Elizabeth is the ultimate symbol of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?

What I enjoy most about playing basketball is the team camaraderie that we have. I love going to basketball because of my teammates and how supportive they are.

What is your favorite class?

My favorite class is athletics because I love to exercise and spend time with my friends.

What is your favorite sports related movie?

My favorite sports related movie would have to be Uncle Drew because Kyrie Irving is my favorite NBA player.

Do you have a favorite quote you live by?

My favorite quote is “ just do it” because you only have one life to live so you should try and live it the best you can.

What song best describes you or is the soundtrack to your life?

The song or soundtrack to my life would be any Taylor Swift song.

What is your favorite food?

Mac N Cheese

 

The Hornet of the Week is awarded to Flour Bluff Student-Athletes that exhibit Class, Pride, and Heart on and off the athletic field.  This award recognizes Student-Athletes who are well-rounded representations of what Hornet Student-Athletes should be. These athletes combine academics, athletics, community service, along with involvement in campus activities with an emphasis on leadership.
