Bio:

Albert Walker, born on August 13, is a dedicated educator and coach whose passion for sports and mentoring young athletes has shaped his career. A native of Hallettsville, Texas, Albert pursued higher education at Texas State University in San Marcos, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. His commitment to academics and athletics has guided him through a successful journey in coaching and teaching, allowing him to positively impact countless students along the way.

Albert began his professional career at Moody High School, where from 2011 to 2015 he served as an assistant coach for football, boys basketball, and track. His leadership, energy, and ability to build strong connections with student-athletes quickly set him apart as a coach who inspired growth both on and off the field. In 2015, Albert joined Corpus Christi ISD, where he took on the role of Head Girls Basketball Coach at W.B. Ray while also serving as an assistant coach in track and football. His dedication to his teams was evident in his tireless work ethic and his drive to instill discipline, teamwork, and resilience in his athletes.

From 2015 to 2023, Albert continued to grow in his leadership capacity, becoming the Pre-Athletics Coordinator at Flour Bluff Intermediate School. In this role, he has had the unique opportunity to introduce younger students to the values and fundamentals of athletics, preparing them for success in future programs. Beyond his professional life, Albert treasures his role as a husband to his wife, Krystal, and as a father to their three children, Saniya, Brooklyn, and Zion. Grounded in faith, family, and a deep love for his community, Albert Walker continues to be a positive influence in the lives of the students and athletes he serves.
