Bio:

Carlos Rodriguez-Brun was born on October 10, 1989, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Coach Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management and began his coaching career at the Puerto Rico Youth Challenge Academy, where he served from 2018 to 2021. During his time there, he helped mentor and develop young people through athletics, leadership, and discipline.

In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Rodriguez is currently serving in the U.S. Navy Reserves and is a veteran of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. His military service has further strengthened his commitment to leadership, discipline, accountability, teamwork, and service—values he brings to his work with student-athletes.

Coach Rodriguez is committed to building strong relationships with student-athletes while emphasizing character, accountability, and teamwork. His passion for coaching extends beyond the field, as he strives to make a positive impact on the lives of every athlete he works with.

He is married to Marlene Alvarez, and together they have four children: Carlos Rodriguez, Kaleb Rodriguez, Analeigh Spangler, and Adalynn Taylor. His dedication to family, faith, service, and leadership continues to shape his approach to coaching and mentoring the next generation.
