Bio:

Cole Andrus was born on January 17 and is a native of Jourdanton, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University before returning home to begin his coaching career. During the 2025–2026 school year, Coach Andrus served as a Middle School Football Coach, while also assisting with High School Football, High School Basketball, and High School Baseball at Jourdanton ISD.

Coach Andrus is the son of former Hornet Head Football Coach Darrell Andrus, continuing a family tradition of leadership and dedication to athletics. Committed to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field, he emphasizes hard work, discipline, and character. His passion for developing young people and building meaningful relationships makes him a valuable member of the athletic program as he strives to inspire excellence while representing the values of Class, Pride, and Heart.
