Bio:

Jalen Brooks was born on May 26, 2000, and is a native of Portland, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Community Health from the University of Oklahoma, where he developed a passion for leadership, wellness, and mentoring young people through athletics.

Coach Brooks joined Flour Bluff ISD in 2026 and currently serves as the Junior High Football, Basketball, and Track coach. He is dedicated to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field by emphasizing discipline, teamwork, accountability, and character. Through his positive leadership and commitment to developing fundamentals, Coach Brooks strives to prepare his athletes for success at the next level while instilling the values of hard work and perseverance.

As a member of the Flour Bluff Athletics family, Coach Brooks is committed to upholding the tradition of excellence and helping student-athletes represent the Hornets with Class, Pride, and Heart.
