Bio:

Kara Wallace, born on October 24th in Hutto, Texas, has been a dedicated volleyball coach since 2008. Her coaching journey began shortly after her own high school volleyball career, where she was part of the Hutto team that clinched the state championship in 1999. This early success ignited her passion for the sport and set the foundation for her future endeavors.

Over the years, Wallace has built a reputation for her commitment to player development and team cohesion, leading her teams to multiple district championships and playoff appearances. In 2024, Wallace achieved a significant milestone in her coaching career by guiding the Flour Bluff Hornets to their first-ever UIL Class 5A Division I state championship. Under her leadership, the team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, culminating in a decisive victory over College Station in the semifinals. The championship match saw Flour Bluff facing McKinney North, where they emerged victorious, securing the title and marking a historic achievement for the program. 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Wallace is a devoted mother to three children: Jedidiah, Hezekiah, and Addi. Her family is a cornerstone of her life, providing her with the support and inspiration to excel both on and off the court. Wallace’s journey from a state champion athlete to a state champion coach reflects her unwavering dedication to the sport and her community. Her story serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes and coaches alike, demonstrating the power of perseverance, passion, and family.
