Bio:

Richard Vargas was born on June 30th and has deep roots in the Flour Bluff community, having graduated from Flour Bluff High School. His early experiences in the school district fueled his passion for sports and education, leading him to pursue a career in coaching. Richard’s dedication to fostering talent and instilling values of teamwork and perseverance make him a key figure at Flour Bluff ISD, where he currently coaches both football and girls’ soccer. After completing his undergraduate education, Richard furthered his academic journey by earning a master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

This advanced education has equipped him with valuable insights and strategies that he incorporates into his coaching methods, allowing him to effectively mentor his athletes on and off the field. His commitment to professional development reflects a genuine desire to improve not only his coaching skills but also the overall experience of his players.
