Steve Bateson, born on October 15th, hails from Wichita Falls, Texas. He has a strong educational background, having earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and later pursuing a Master’s in Education from Grand Canyon University. Steve is not only committed to his professional growth but also to his family life. He is happily married to his wife, Kelsey, and they are proud parents to their son Cameron and daughter Sophia, fostering an environment of learning and exploration at home.
In his professional life, Steve teaches U.S. History and Advanced Placement U.S. History, where he inspires his students to appreciate the complexities of the past and understand their implications on the present. At Flour Bluff Independent School District, he has found his passion for both teaching and coaching. Steve takes his love for sports to the next level by coaching 7B Football and 7A Basketball, as well as leading the pole vaulting team, nurturing young athletes and instilling in them the values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.
