The Hornet of the Week is awarded to Flour Bluff Student-Athletes who exhibit Class, Pride, and Heart on and off the athletic field. This award recognizes Student-Athletes who are well-rounded representations of what Hornet Student-Athletes should be.

This Week’s Hornet of the Week is Madisyn Barganski. Madisyn is a Senior leader on the Lady Hornet Soccer Team where she was named Newcomer of the year in 2020, 1st team all district and, 2nd team all South Texas. Madisyn is also leader on the Lady Hornet Tennis Team, where she was named 1st team all district. Madisyn is a member of the National Honor Society. Off the Field, Madisyn volunteers at her local church and at Padre Soccer Fields. After graduation, Madisyn will further her academic and athletic career at Trinity University in soccer. Madisyn plans to go to physical therapy school as well. Madisyn is a true representation of Class, Pride, and Heart.
