The Varsity Boys golf team started their year off with a bang, placing 2nd out of a field of 20 teams and 120 players, in the Donna HS Invitational played at the Tierra Santa Golf Course! The Hornet Boys were led by 6th place overall Medalist John Chapa, who fired a two day total of 149, (76/73). Jaymin Delafuente followed with his best tournament performance of 77/74, Ethan Ming came in at 82/81, and Kamron Snodgrass rounded out the team scoring with 83/84! Cole Miller finished the tournament with 93/99 and Michael Speed shot 102/103 in his first varsity tournament! Great job Hornet Golfers!
