Last Friday the Flour Bluff Cross Country team competed in the district 29-5A Cross Country Meet. All the athletes competed to the best of their abilities. In the Varsity girls division senior Destiny Beuenavente made 2nd team All- District, as she placed 14th overall. In the Varsity boys division senior Hunter Dobbins placed 2nd overall and junior Dorian Bertero placed 8th overall. They both will move on and run at the Regional meet, which will take place at 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22 at Dugan Athletic Stadium on the TAMUCC campus. Also in the meet JV girls got 3rd place as a team. And the Freshmen girls took home the district championship!! Great Job Hornets!
