Bio:

Coach Declan Deyoung, a Corpus Christi native and a graduate of Texas A&M University–Kingsville, is the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Offensive Line Coach at Flour Bluff High School. With a background as an offensive lineman at Alma College, Coach Deyoung brings firsthand playing experience and a strategic mindset to his coaching role, making him a valuable asset to the Hornet football program.

Since joining Flour Bluff in 2021, Coach Deyoung has excelled as both Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Offensive Line Coach. His role as Recruiting Coordinator allows him to leverage his connections and knowledge of the game to help student-athletes pursue collegiate opportunities. His experience as a former player enriches his work with the offensive line, where he focuses on developing players’ technical skills, teamwork, and field awareness. Known for his dedication to player growth and his enthusiasm for the sport, Coach Deyoung is committed to preparing athletes for success on the field and beyond.

Outside of coaching, Coach Deyoung remains closely connected to the Corpus Christi community, where he continues to inspire and support young athletes. His dedication to player development and his passion for mentoring future leaders make him an integral part of the Flour Bluff coaching staff.
