Bio:
Kristin Rodriguez, born on March 19th, hails from the charming town of Soda Springs, Idaho. A dedicated mother, she proudly raises two daughters who both shine in the world of sports; her eldest daughter Talia is currently making waves as a volleyball player at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, while her younger daughter Kristina shines on the Lady Hornet volleyball team as a junior. Kristin’s passion for education and athletics fuels her commitment to inspiring young athletes both on and off the court. With a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC), Kristin has built an impressive coaching career.
She began her coaching journey at King High School where she served as the Varsity Assistant Girls Basketball Coach from 2012 to 2019, alongside roles in freshman softball and girls track. Since 2019, Kristin has been shaping budding athletes at Flour Bluff, where she has taken on various coaching positions including Freshman Girls Basketball and Varsity Assistant Volleyball. Her experiences have not only enriched her coaching skills but also provided her a platform to mentor young women striving for excellence in sports.
Outside of coaching, Kristin is passionate about teaching and currently instructs Advanced Algebra II, further showcasing her dedication to education. Partnering with her husband Wuilman Rodriguez, they create a supportive family environment that values both academic pursuits and athletic endeavors. Through her work and her family life, Kristin exemplifies a balance of dedication, passion, and leadership, making a lasting impact on her community.
