The Flour Bluff Golf Team finished the Fall schedule with a bang this past weekend in the FB Invitational golf tournament held at NASCC Gulf Winds Golf Course. Despite severe wind conditions on Friday, both the Varsity Boys and Girls finished in 1st Place. Boys were led by 1st place Medalist Ethan Ming firing a 79 on the first day in blistering wind conditions. He followed with a 81 the second day. 2nd place Medalist, Jaymin Delafuente, came in with sores of 86, 80, and 5th place Medalist Kamron, 91, 81. John Chapa finished shooting 89,84, with Carson Gulley rounding out the squad with scores of 94,88.
The Girls Team were led by 1st Place Medalist Kaylie Chapa shooting 86,74, followed by 2nd Place Katie Habib coming in with scores of 89,82. Adeline Sowles took the 3rd spot with 100,98, Ferrell Tugman, 4th with 105,96, and Jenna Flores 5th finished with scores of 104,99.
The 1st Place JV Boys were led by 3rd Place Medalist Cole Miller with a 94 and Michael Speed, 5th Place Medalist, finished Friday at 100. 1st Place JV Girls were led by Madison Sutter, 1st Place Medalist, finishing at 107, along with 3rdPlace Medalist Allison Davis, closing out the squad with 112.
