Flour Bluff Athletics is proud to welcome the following new coaches to Flour Bluff ISD.

• Head Softball Coach Aspen Auger comes to Flour Bluff from West Oso High School. She also played Softball for the Islanders at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
• Assistant Cross Country and Assistant Girls’ Soccer Coach Chelsea Spoor joins the Hornets from Copperas Cove High School.
• Assistant Boys’ Basketball and Assistant Junior High Football Coach Ryan Cervantes comes to Flour Bluff from Taft High School where he was the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach.
• Assistant Football, Assistant Track Coach, and Flour Bluff Alumni Cameron Schaefer returns to the Hornets from Magnolia Junior High where he coached football. Coach Schaefer also completed his student teaching at Flour Bluff.
• Assistant Football, Assistant Track Coach, and Flour Bluff Alumni Adrian Hynson returns to the Hornets after playing football and earning a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas – El Paso.
• Assistant Football and Assistant Track Coach Rudy Alvarez rejoins the Hornet Athletic staff after completing his student teaching here and coaching at Hardin Simmons University.
