At the Regional Track meet this weekend, Aidan Featherby won the Long Jump competition.  He won the event with an impressive leap of 22 feet, 6 inches.  The victory guarantees Aidan a spot at the UIL Track & Field State Meet, which will take place Thursday, May 6th – Saturday, May 8th – 2021 at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas at Austin.

The Regional Track & Field Championship is another outstanding accomplishment for Aidan, who qualified for five events at the Regional Track Meet.  The All-South Texas Punter also helped lead the Hornet Football Team to the state quarterfinals this season.  In soccer, he was named the District Offensive Most Valuable Player.  He also scored a game winning goal for the Hornet Soccer Team in the BiDistrict Round.  Aidan is also a member of the National Honor Society and was named Academic All State in Football and Soccer.
