The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Brenna Gordon.  Brenna is a Senior member of the Hornet Tennis Team.  She is also a member of the National Honor Society.  Brenna is a student leader who serves on the Flour Bluff High School Health Advisory Committee and the FBISD Superintendent’s Ambassador Committee.  She is a true model of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.

 What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?

The thing I enjoy most about playing tennis is the team spirit that is present when you are on the court.

 Do you have any pre-match rituals?

I like to eat a healthy meal, and go over the key notes my coaches have taught me.

 What is your favorite class?

My favorite classes are the Health Science classes.

 What type of volunteer work are you involved in within your community?

I regularly volunteer at Driscoll Children’s Hospital and have helped out at local sporting events.

 What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to go to medical school and become a physician.

 What is your favorite sports related movie?

My favorite sports related movie is The Blind Side.

 Do you have a favorite quote you live by?

My favorite quote to live by is “Pressure is a privilege”.
