Flour Bluff ISD Athletics names Brian Baker new Offensive Coordinator
Flour Bluff Independent School District Athletics has named Brian Baker as the new Offensive Coordinator for the Flour Bluff High School football program. Coach Baker was the Receiving and Special Teams coach for Hornet football.
Baker has nine years of teaching and coaching experience, most of which he has spent in Flour Bluff ISD. He has been teaching and coaching high school football for Flour Bluff for the past eight years. Coach Baker began his teaching career in Caldwell ISD.
“Coach Baker has been an integral part to the success of the Hornet Offense over the past several seasons,” said Chris Steinbruck, Flour Bluff ISD Athletics Director. Coach Baker has a great vision and plan to take our offense to new heights and is someone who truly cares about every Hornet. He is going to do a tremendous job for us.”
“I am extremely excited to become the new Offensive Coordinator for the Flour Bluff Football Program,” said Coach Baker. “It is a dream come true to work with the student athletes and coaching staff of Flour Bluff ISD in my new role. I want to continue to help build this program and help us reach a high level of success.”
Coach Baker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University-College Station. Coach Baker replaces Jason Richards who has accepted a position as the Athletic Director for Muleshoe ISD. Coach Baker will begin his new role in Flour Bluff ISD immediately.
