Bio:
Coach Chris Guidry, originally from San Antonio, Texas, brings nearly two decades of coaching experience and a passion for football to Flour Bluff High School, where he serves as the Wide Receivers Coach and Co-Special Teams Coordinator. A graduate of Angelo State University with a bachelor’s degree, Coach Guidry is known for his strategic mind and commitment to player development.
Coach Guidry’s coaching career began in 2004 as a Football Assistant at Junction High School, followed by roles at San Antonio LEE and San Antonio Warren. From 2012 to 2022, he held the position of Offensive Coordinator at San Antonio Warren, where he honed his skills in offensive strategy and led his teams with dedication and vision. In 2022, Coach Guidry joined the Flour Bluff coaching staff, where he works closely with the Hornet wide receivers and co-manages special teams, emphasizing precision, teamwork, and resilience in his players.
Beyond the field, Coach Guidry enjoys the support of his wife, Cynthia, and their two sons, CJ and Cassius. The Guidry family is proud to be part of the Flour Bluff community. Coach Guidry’s commitment to shaping well-rounded athletes and fostering a love for the game makes him a valued member of the Hornet coaching staff and an inspiring mentor to his players.
