The Lady Hornet Softball team went 5-0 in the La Joya Tournament this weekend. Freshman Jade Moreno created Hornet History this weekend as she pitched a perfect game. The Lady Hornets cruised to a 23-0 win over La Joya Palmview Thursday evening. They had a combined 47 runs including 5 home runs. Their biggest wins came against 6A Edinburg Vela 4-2 and 5A PSJA Memorial 9-0. The Flour Bluff Lady Hornets begin district play this Tuesday against Gregory Portland.
