The Flour Bluff Varsity and JV Golf Teams competed in McAllen at the Palm View Golf Course in the Sharyland Regional Preview this past weekend.  The Flour Bluff Varsity Girls’ Golf Team took 3^rd Place Overall.  The team was led by Kaylie Chapa who finished 2^nd Place Overall.  With a first round score of 80 and a 77 score the final day, Kaylie finished only two strokes out of first place!  Katelyn Habib finished 10th Place Overall with scores of 89 and 86, Tabitha Foster scored a 104 and 115, and Ferrell Tugman rounded out the team scores with a 120 and 111.

The Flour Bluff Varsity Boys’ Golf Team finished 6^th Place Overall out of a field of 16 teams in the competition.  The Hornets were led by John Chapa who shot an 81 the first round and an 83 in the final round.  Ethan Ming shot an 80 and 86, Jaymin Delafuente shot a 92 and 79, Kamron Snodgrass shot an 89 and 92, and Carson Gulley rounded out the team scores with a 99 and 90.

The Flour Bluff JV Girls’ Golf Team brought home the 2^nd Place Overall Trophy and were led by 3^rd Place medalist Madison Sutter who shot a 110.  Michael Speed finished 3^rd Place Overall for the Flour Bluff JV Boys’ Golf Team with a score of 94.  Great job Hornet golfers!
