The Flour Bluff Athletic Hornet of the Week is Aidan Featherby, a senior who participates in football, soccer, and track and field for the Hornets. Aidan is a First Team All Region Soccer player, All South Texas Kicker in football and an outstanding triple jumper and sprinter in Track and Field.  Aidan is currently the #1 rated Punter in the state of Texas by Kohl’s.  He is not only a strong player on the field but also a strong student in the classroom. He is also a member of the Hornet Football Leadership Team.  Aidan is an ideal student-athlete who proudly represents Flour Bluff with Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?

Getting to wake up every morning knowing I’ll be able to do something I’m passionate about.

Are you looking to continue your playing career in college?

Yes. I don’t plan on playing football in college because soccer is my favorite sport and I’d love to try and create a career out of soccer.

Do you have any pre-game/match/meet rituals?

I always take a big step and jump as high as i can while bringing my knees to my chest.

Do you have any special talents or is there something surprising about you that others might not know about you?

I love to cook and try foreign cuisines. I also took tap dance for two years.
