This week’s Hornet of the Week is Chris Bernal. Chris is a lifelong Hornet and an infielder on the Hornet Baseball Team.  His hard work and effort has earned him the respect of his teammates and coaches.  Off the field, Chris is an outstanding student athlete who takes his academics seriously.  With his hard work and Honor Roll grades, Chris plans to continue his education at the next level and study law. He is an active volunteer with the It’s Your Life Foundation.  Chris is a perfect example of the Hornet Characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?

I enjoy that the game is never over, and anything can happen on any given day.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I wrap my left wrist before every game.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to play baseball at the next level, and go to law school.
