The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Colton Hooper.  Colton is a two sport start and leader on the Hornet Tennis and Baseball teams.  Colton was named Second Team All-District in boys singles and was a part of the Hornet Tennis Team’s Regional Quarterfinal run in 2021. Colton is also a Second Team All-District Outfielder on the Hornet Baseball team, where he was honored as the Silver Slugger last year Off the court, Colton is an outstanding student.  He was named Academic All District and is a member of the National Honor Society.  Colton participates in 4-H, where he built a Deer Blind that was named Grand Champion at the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show.  Colton is also involved in volunteering with the Hornet Interact Club.  He is a true model of the lifelong Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.
