The Hornet of the Week is awarded to Flour Bluff Student-Athletes that exhibit Class, Pride, and Heart on and off the athletic field.  This award recognizes Student-Athletes who are well-rounded representations of what Hornet Student-Athletes should be.

The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week this week is Conner Sneed. Conner is a Senior Team Captain for the Hornet Baseball Team.  Conner plays right field for the Hornets, and he was named All District Honorable Mention last season for playing that position.  Off the field, Conner has been awarded Academic All-District for his hard work and good grades while taking honors courses.  Conner is also active in clean-up efforts at his church and working concessions for the Flour Bluff Athletic Booster Club. After graduation, Conner plans to attend UTSA where he plans to join ROTC and follow the path to becoming an officer in the military.  Conner embodies the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.
