The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Dallas Ritchey. Dallas is a four-year member of the Flour Bluff Sports Information Program where he serves as the lead camera operator for Flour Bluff Athletic Events.  As a founding member of the Sports Information Program, Dallas helped build the Sports Information Program into a state recognized innovative Bragging Rights program by the Texas Association of School Administrators.  Dallas has also served as commentator, producer, and camera operator Flour Bluff Athletics.  A lifelong Hornet, Dallas is the epitome of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about Sports Information?

It gives me the ability to get out of the house more often and the ability to bond with others along the journey.

Edward James Shannon, a.k.a. Shannon the Cannon.

What are your plans after graduation?

To go to TAMUCC for and major in media arts or communication.

What is your favorite sports related movie?

What is your favorite food?

A good medium rare steak or probably a nice Caesar Salad.

Do you have any special talents or is there something surprising about you that others might not know about you?

I am very good at Monopoly.
