The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Grace Vagedes. A senior leader on the Girls Track Team. Grace’s exemplary work in the classroom has been recognized by being inducted into the National Honor Society. She also volunteers her time with the Interact Club. Grace is the ultimate symbol of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.
What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?
I enjoy warming up with my relay team and always meeting new people at track meets the most.
Do you have any pre-meet rituals?
We love to sing Fergie before any race and we put our heads together to pray before every relay.
