The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Katy Geurin.  Katy is a Senior Team Captain of both the Lady Hornet Volleyball and Basketball Teams.  A lifelong Hornet, Katy excels just as much in the classroom. After graduation, Katy plans on continuing her education and pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. Katy personifies the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about playing sports?

I like to be able to be competitive with my teammates and friends.

Do you have any pre-game rituals

Before any game, I like to listen to music while drinking a Monster.

What is your favorite class?

My favorite class is Phlebotomy.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite meal is chicken and waffles.
