The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Logan Townsend. Logan is a Senior on the Hornet Tennis Team. This season he finished 3rd at the District 29-5A Tournament. Off the court, Logan plays the guitar, volunteers his time, and excels in the classroom. His hard work was rewarded with an induction to the National Honor Society. Logan is a model of the Flour Bluff traits of Class, Pride, and Heart.
I enjoy tennis because with a solid foundation of skills, all you need is confidence to win.
Do you have any pre-match rituals?
I say a prayer before matches.
What type of volunteer work are you involved in within your community?
I volunteer at the the National Seashore, Corpus Christi Food Bank, and I tutor other students.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be attending Texas A&M College Station with a major in Biomedical Sciences.
