The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Nash Villegas.  Nash is the starting Varsity quarterback on the Hornet Football Team.   He has been awarded multiple honors for his play on the field including being named Offensive MVP and Honorable Mention All-State. Nash’s strong leadership skills have earned him the title of Team Captain on the Hornet Football Leadership Team. In addition to playing Hornet Football, Nash also shines on the Hornet Baseball Team, and he plans to attend Texas A&M University Corpus Christi where he will continue his baseball career. Nash embodies of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about playing football?

The things I love most is that I am always able to create bonds with my teammates whether we win or lose, but I especially like when we win.

What type of volunteer work are you involved in within your community?

I always like to help out with camps, mowing lawns, and do anything I can to help out our community.

What are your plans after graduation?

Once I graduate, the plan is to go to college, then hopefully get into the MLB, and then become a dentist after  I get all my certifications.
