The Hornet of the Week is awarded to Flour Bluff Student-Athletes that exhibit Class, Pride, and Heart on and off the athletic field.  This award recognizes Student-Athletes who are well-rounded representations of what Hornet Student-Athletes should be. These athletes combine academics, athletics, community service, along with involvement in campus activities with an emphasis on leadership.

The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Zoe McDonald.  Zoe is a Senior leader on the Hornet Tennis Team, where she was honored as Second Team All-District during her Junior season. Off the Court, Zoe volunteers at her church’s Vacation Bible School.  She is a true model of the Hornet characteristics of Class, Pride, and Heart.
