A huge congratulations to the Flour Bluff Lady Hornet Volleyball team on winning the District 29-5A Championship, and advancing to the Class 5A State Volleyball Playoffs. The Lady Hornets completed district play by going a perfect 9-0 including defeating Victoria West in 5 sets in the District Championship. The Lady Hornets won their 1st round playoff game vs Laredo Nixon 3-0 to advance to the Area round of playoffs. The Lady Hornets will face Sharyland Pioneer on Friday at 6:00 pm at Falfurrias High School.  The Lady Hornets won their 2nd round playoff game against Sharyland Pioneer 3-0 to advance to the regional quarterfinals vs McAllen Memorial. The match is set for Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Falfurrias Junior High. Best of luck Coach Wallace and the Lady Hornets.
