Bio:

Joshua Pena, a proud native of Corpus Christi, Texas, was born on July 6th. He is a dedicated educator and coach who has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the development of young athletes in his community.

Joshua graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he laid the foundation for his career in education and athletics. His passion for coaching and mentoring has shaped the lives of many students over the years. Beginning his coaching journey at Tuloso-Midway I.S.D., Joshua took on the role of Middle School Assistant Football and Track Coach during the 2020-2021 school year. His exceptional ability to connect with players and foster a supportive environment quickly became evident.

After a successful season, he transitioned to Flour Bluff, where he served as the Junior High Assistant Football and Track Coach from 2021 to 2022. His impact continued to grow, leading him to be appointed as the High School Assistant Coach for both sports from 2022 to 2024. In 2025, Joshua returned to Flour Bluff as the Junior High Assistant Football and Track Coach, continuing his journey to inspire and develop young talent. Outside of his professional life, Joshua is a devoted husband to his wife, Amber, and a proud father to their two children, Grayson and Brynlee. His family is a cornerstone of his life, and they share in his passion for sports and education. Joshua Pena is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students both on and off the field.
