Coach Aspen Auger and the Lady Hornet Softball team defeated the LaJoya Palmview Lady Lobos in the 1st Round of the UIL 5A Softball Playoffs.  The Lady Hornets swept the Lady Lobos in the two game series.  In Game 1, the Lady Hornets beat LaJoya Palmview 9-0 at the Flour Bluff Softball Field.  In Game 2, The Lady Hornets travelled to LaJoya, where they came from behind to win 10-3.

The BiDistrict Champion Lady Hornets have advanced to the Area Round.  In the 2nd Round, the Lady Hornets will face the Sharyland Pioneer Lady Diamondbacks in a best of 3 game series.  All the games will be played at Hebbronville High School. Game 1 will be Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 6:30 PM.  Game 2 will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 6:30 PM.  Game 3, if necessary, will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
