Hornets Excel at State Meet

Class, Pride, and Heart were on display as Coach Bryan Hutchinson and our Swimming and Diving Hornets excelled at the state meet.

Senior Krag Bray took home the gold medal in the 5A 50 Freestyle race.  His winning time was 20.51.  He also took the silver medal in the 5A 100 Freestyle event.

The Lady Hornet Swimming and Diving team finished the State Meet in 9th place.  Highlights for the Lady Hornets included:

• Rachel Huang – eighth in the 100 freestyle.
• Jennifer Pena, Hannah Hooper, Rachel Huang, Kylee Hutchinson – seventh in the 400 Freestyle Relay
• Jennifer Pena, Hannah Hooper, Rachel Huang, Kylee Hutchinson – eighth in the 200 Medley Relay

We are very proud of the Hornets who qualified for the UIL Swimming and Diving Meet at UT Austin.
