- All returning year round and summer SWARM swimmers should attend the tryout week to allow the coaching staff an opportunity to determine training groups. If you are a returning SWARM swimmer and are not able to attend the tryout, please contact Coach Ali ahutchinson@flourbluffschools.net
- Swimmers will need goggles for the tryout – one piece swimming suits for girls. No swimming shirts/rashguards allowed at tryouts. If you have fins, please bring them to the tryout everyday. If you do not have fins, please wait to purchase as they are not required for the tryout.

Tryouts:
- ALL athletes wishing to participate in SWARM will need to attend a tryout – Swimmers must be able to complete a 25 of freestyle swim and kick with a board separately, 25 of each backstroke swim and kick separately without stopping on the bottom of the pool to make the team. Both strokes and kicks must be completed correctly. Coaches will also look for endurance, coachability, and work ethic during the tryout. Swimmers will need to feel comfortable in deep water as many of the practices will be in the deep pool when the season begins.
- Swimmers wishing to join the swim team after the week of Sept 16 tryout period will need to contact Coach Ali ahutchinson@flourbluffschools.net to set up a time to tryout for the team. We welcome swimmers throughout the school year. Summer tryout information will be sent out in April.
