Swim Lessons
- Ages 5-10
- Monday through Thursday
- Group one 6:00-6:30 Group two 6:30-7:00
- Groups are decided by ability level when you register in person
- Cost is 75$ per child
First session of 2025 lessons will be February 24th – March 6th (M-TH)
- Levels 1 & 2 (6:00 – 6:30)
- Levels 3 & 4 (6:30 – 7:00) * See class descriptions below.
- Maximum of 10 – 12 participants per class time
Registration will begin at 6:00 pm on February 19th at the FBISD Natatorium
Second session:
March 24th – April 3rd (M-Th)
- Levels 1 & 2 (6:00 – 6:30)
- Levels 3 & 4 (6:30 – 7:00) * See class descriptions below
- Maximum of 10 – 12 participants per class time
- Registration will begin at 6:00 pm on March 19th at the FBISD Natatorium
Third session:
April 28th – May 7th and May 12th. NO LESSON ON THURSDAY MAY 8th we will have it on the 12th

Registration will begin at 6:00 pm on April 23rd at the FBISD Natatorium
**MUST REGISTER IN-PERSON**
(A sign-up page will be provided to determine the order of registration. Registration ends after both class times are full.)
- LESSONS are for ages 5-10. The cost is $75 PER CHILD (cash or check ONLY). Participants must be on time for their class – there will be NO make-up classes if a participant misses a class ( or speak to Coach Garza if there are certain circumstances for missing a few classes due to illness, etc).
** A parent/guardian MUST remain present (inside the Natatorium) during their child’s lesson.
** Participants must wear comfortable swimsuit, bring a towel and may wear a Rashguard shirt (not t-shirt) in case they get too cold in the water.
** Participants with long hair need to keep their hair pulled back in a ponytail/clips (or a swim cap)
No goggles or masks allowed unless participants are in the advanced classes or must wear something for medical reasons.
** No flotation devices are needed
Lap Swim
- Lap swim is available Monday through Thursday 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM
- Cost is 50$ a month or 35$ a month for first responders and veterans.

Level 1 – (Ages 5 – 10) * Introduction to water & learning how to become comfortable in the water. Instructors will provide a lot of support (assistance) while learning skills. Slow – paced instruction.

Level 2 – (Ages 5 -10) * Participants are comfortable in water (can put face in & completely submerge underwater). Will learn how to float & glide independently and work on using correct breathing/arm stroke techniques.

Level 3 – (Ages 5 – 10) * Participants will learn the proper skills needed to perform Freestyle & Backstroke & learn how to perform various skills in water over their heads.

Level 4 – (Ages 5 – 10) * Participants will be working on swimming proper strokes and learning how to dive in deep water. This class is for those interested in becoming stronger swimmers. Groups will work on swimming longer distances, and for those interested in competitive swimming, possibly joining the SWARM team!
