The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Grayson White. Grayson is a lifelong Hornet and Senior on the Hornet Swim and Dive Team.  Grayson is a Honorable Mention All State Swimmer who qualified for the State Meet this season in the 500 Freestyle.  He is also a top notch student outside of the pool.   Grayson demonstrates the true aspects of Class, Pride, and Heart.

What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?

Competing against others and with my teammates.

Who has the best nickname on the team, and what is it?

I would say the nickname the team gave me is the best, which is “The Ghost”.

What is your favorite sports related movie?

The Longest Yard

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan on joining the US Coast Guard.

What is the soundtrack to your life?

The best soundtrack that describes me would have to be Metallica’s album Ride the Lightning.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is 15 Bean Soup with cornbread.
