The Flour Bluff Athletics Hornet of the Week is Gracelyn Caudle. Gracelyn is a lifelong Hornet that has gone above and beyond to help the community and make others feel welcome to Flour Bluff. Gracelyn is a member of the Flour Bluff Sports Information Program, Team Manager for the Boys’ Soccer Team, and a photographer on the Yearbook staff. Off the field, Gracelyn excels in the classroom, and is a member of the National Honor Society and the Interact Club. Gracelyn is the embodiment of the Flour Bluff values of Class, Pride, and Heart.
What do you enjoy most about this sport?
I love being a manager because the team becomes like your family. I love being part of the Media team because you help capture memories that people can always look back on.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Before any game, I pop in my Airpods and get pumped up.
What is your favorite class?
That’s tough but i would have to say I love my AVP class, Yearbook, and the Boy’s Soccer Athletic Period.
What type of volunteer work are you involved in within your community?
I am part of NHS and the Interact Club, both of which I gain several community service hours in.
What are your plans after graduation?
I am attending UTSA in the fall, where I will major in Health with a Pre-Med track. I have the long term goal of wearing a white coat with Dr. Caudle embroidered on it.
