It’s finally August and that means volleyball season has arrived! The Flour Bluff Lady Hornets return to the court for their 2019 campaign. The defending Co-District champions and Regional Semi-Finalists will have some new faces as the Hornets graduated 6 seniors from last year’s Regional tournament run. Flour Bluff’s first game will be at former district opponent Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on August 6th ,sub varsity at 5:00 and varsity at 6:30. The Lady Hornets will have multiple tournaments in Austin and in Sinton before ending their non-district play at home vs Orange Grove on September 6th. District play will begin the 13th of September  at Gregory Portland a match up of last year’s come from behind classic in the Wildcat Gym, where the Lady Hornets down two sets to nothing came back and defeated GP and that game helped Flour Bluff share the district title.
