Congratulations to Hornet Parent Rene Mendiola for being awarded the statewide Parent Appreciation Award by Grimaldi’s and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football for his work supporting Flour Bluff Athletics. This prestigious award honors superstar parents and thanks them for playing their part in making Texas high school football so special. Mr Mendiola has three sons who have participated in athletics at Flour Bluff, including Michael Mendiola a junior wide receiver on the Hornet Football team.
